Leave a comment » What Happens When Your Real Estate Assistant Is On Vacation?Last night about 9PM, I was working on marketing a listing for a client.
If these women were working as in-house assistants or maybe even working on other virtual assistant Teams, the real estate agent, whose work needed to be completed, would be working on the marketing his listing at 9PM in the evening. NOT so, is this case!! Because this real estate agent hired myREassistant as his real estate Virtual Assistant, the work was getting done by other people on our Team. The agent didn't have to worry about it. He knew it would be taken care of. Do I advertise I work at 9PM in the evening...heck NO. My advertised hours are 9-5 EST, Monday through Friday. But, when there is work to be done that is time sensitive, it gets done one way or the other. http://www.realestatevirtualassistant.net/003A42

• You are only billed for the hours worked. As your real estate Virtual Assistant, I am ready to work for you anytime you need me, but only when you need me. • You have a permanent staffing solution. Temps are expensive and transient (most are looking for full-time employment). As your real estate Virtual Assistant, I am a team player providing reliable, dependable service. • You don't need to provide workspace and equipment such as computer, fax machine, phone and office supplies. As your real estate Virtual Assistant, I work from a remote location saving you overhead dollars. http://www.realestatevirtualassistant.net/00363E

Leave a comment » Real Estate Virtual Assistants Cross Finish LineA real estate Virtual Assistant takes the projects you don't have time for over the finish line.
Cynthia Morris in her e-book, Cross the Finish Line! Five Steps to Leaping Over the Hurdles to Completion, provides us five steps to help us finish what we start. I have a sixth option...hire a real estate virtual assistant, but more about that in a minute. Take a look at the advice Cynthia Morris has for us: 1. Identify Your MotivationStart becoming a great finisher by doing some soul-searching. In a notebook or computer file, write out an answer to this question: What is important about becoming someone who finishes? Understanding your unique motivation for staying through the entire process is an essential piece of the puzzle. Get clear on what's important about finishing. You may come back and add more as your motivation becomes more apparent to you. You may craft that motivation into one sentence that you keep nearby when you're creating. A single affirmation or reminder of your commitment can do a lot toward achieving the finishing line. Develop your own version of the Little Red Engine's mantra: "I think I can, I think I can!" http://www.realestatevirtualassistant.net/003610

This week I have taken a number of training classes from Mary McKnight of RSSPieces on building your business and generating leads through Social Networking. I love Mary! For one, she doesnt speak Geekeze. She explains the workings of cyberspace in language any human can understand. And two, she is extremely knowledgeable, down to earth and fun to listen to. http://www.realestatevirtualassistant.net/0031AE

What are the benefits of working with real estate Virtual Assistant, Ruth Ann Macklin, rather than hiring an in-house employee?
Have you ever attended a real estate seminar, bought the product that was being promoted, only to return to your office, put it on a shelf and never open it? Or maybe you have started to create a new marketing program, only to get bogged down in the middle of it and never complete it? You are not alone! Many of your fellow agents have done exactly the same thing and are now making promises to themselves never to let the same thing happen again.
Let's face it, shuffling paperwork, scheduling inspections and tracking down addendums is not something most real estate agents like to do. The good news is, you don't have to! Real estate Virtual Assistants can manage your transaction, giving you more time to concentrate on dollar productive activities...listing, selling and negotiating.
If you are like a lot of real estate agents, all this talk about Social Networking gives you a headache. You cant open a real estate industry magazine without hearing that merely having a static website is not enough anymore and it is all about building relationships through networks. But, it is all a little overwhelming. Between MySpace, Friendster, Tribe, Jibber Jobber and 100s of others, where do you start?
